Course Assignments:

There will be four graded assignments for the course. The first will be a short assignment due in the first month of class (10% of the grade). The second will be a mid-term assignment (20% of the grade). Note the specifications of this assignment are detailed on week 14. However, if students choose a creative project, they must have it approved early in the semester so that they may have it prepared for presentation by session 15. The third assignment will be a short, in class assignment (worth 15% of the grade). The last assignment will be due at the end of the semester (worth 50% of the grade). The final 5% of the grade will be based on students' active participation and involvement in class discussion.
