- This site contains numerous artists of the Renaissance and samples of their work. It is compiled by California State Polytechnic University Pomona.
Cucamonga Renaissance Band - Learning to play Renaissance Music
- This site explains various instruments of the Renaissance and how they should be played. The site also contains some brief sound files as examples (mostly explaining the use of the recorder).
- A very detailed site with information on the history of specific dances as well as detailed, easy-to-understand directions. He also references a site to view his book and allows for free copying for "historical recreation purposes."
Introduction to the music of Josquin Desprez
- At this site the user can access the music of Josquin Desprez. It also has information on the artist (in French).
- A detailed site on the artist, containing his bibliography, list of works, and a picture. It's gathered from the Grove Concise Dictionary of Music.
Renaissance Dance Cheat Sheets
- This is a freely copyable collection of cheat sheets. They appear in a variety of possible formats.
- Divided by 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries, this site offers links to various dances, distinguished further by the specific countries and dances they originated in.
- This site contains hundreds of links to artists, authors, and other Renaissance dance links on the internet. This is an extremely detailed site (includes information on costumes too).
Renaissance Historical Dance Society
- This site is slow to load. It comes complete with music upon opening. It's primarily an informative site about the group and the services they provide. It includes color photos of historic recreations.
- This site contains information about the music instruments of the Renaissance as well as history and depictions of original music manuscripts.
- From the Society for Creative Anachronism comes a variety of interest links relating to music and dance.
