- Was the Nazi Holocaust a unique event in history, or was it just another episode of anti-Semitism in the history of the Jews? Explain, using examples.
- Compare Renaissance Spain in the 15th century with Germany of the 1930s; how were they similar and how did they differ?
- What was the solution to the "Jewish problem" in each of these periods?
- In 15th century Spain Jews were encouraged to convert to Christianity. How did this differ from Nazi Germany? What happened to Jews in Nazi Germany who converted to Christianity or to Christians who had some Jewish blood?
