Assessment
Completed murals will be assessed by other students using the same criteria that they developed when evaluating the works of Lorenzetti and WPA artists. Students will discuss among themselves whether the symbols and metaphors selected were accurate and successful.
Terms will be evaluated in a test or quiz.
Students will write a reflection essay on what common themes connect Lorenzetti's themes to the ones they chose and what the main differences were. (e.g., is justice an important part of both murals?).
